I was digging the last Star Wars audiobook, and my luck is still holding with Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One, a fun dystopian (never thought those two words would go together) that worships at the altar of 80’s culture. This book has a deep love of gaming culture (table top and arcades), which I have a deep affinity for, so if that sounds like you, check it out! A big part of my enjoyment was the stellar reading by Wil Wheaton, who was funny, deadly serious, and really good at imitating Monty Python.
I just started 11/22/63 by Stephen King, which is also promising to be another great audiobook read by actor Craig Wasson. The book has a great hook that is time travel related, but so far King is doing a great job of tweaking the formula in interesting, and entertaining ways. Good stuff!
